Renegade: Fashion Event 2017

From Modern Occultism by AFP (Felipe Pinto)

On Thursday, May 7th, 2017, an ardent group of fourth year students of Ryerson University hosted Renegade: A Fashion Event for their thesis collection at the Gladstone Hotel; the night was not just about the runway hits or promotion of local designers, but it also featured other art forms such as, Two Percent, a fashion film by Jin Cao, and Pole Art Acrobatic Performances by Live It Up.

As always, I love seeing emerging designers bring their innovative fashion ideas to life through their collections.

Frequencies by E. RA (Eshita Ravuvari)

What I loved: Prints inspired by physics or frequencies, white and black palette, minimalist fashion with attention to details.

What I loved: patterns or details, styling, and manipulating volume.

My favorite outerwear piece which speaks in volume and shows off zippers.
